VI. Trimming Plastic Bumper Cover 1. Using standard width tape, follow the lines under the wings and across the front of the bumper and go straight in toward the vehicle or angle the tape as you did under the wing. See Figure 1.

2. Make your cut along the lower edge of your tape line. The best tool to use seems to be a hacksaw blade but you will have to smooth the edges when you are finished. You will no longer use the bottom portion of the plastic. See Figure 2.

3. Step three you will mark the center of the plastic for reference. Next you will center a rectangle that measure one inch wide by two and a half inches long as shown in the picture. See Figure 3.
