Warn Industries, Inc. (WARN), with an address of 12900 SE Capps Rd., Clackamas, OR 97015, warrants to the original purchaser that (a) the mechanical components of the WARN® Branded Winch Product (Product) will be free of defects in material and workmanship for the a period of five (5) years from the original date of purchase, and (b) the electrical components of the Product will be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the original date of purchase. This Limited Warranty is only available to the original purchaser of the Product and is not transferable. Product covered by this warranty: • WARN ® R SERIES WINCH PRODUCT To obtain warranty service: • Call Warn Customer Service at 1-800-543-9276 for warranty claim information. • Provide proof of purchase with a copy of a dated sales receipt and original bill of sale clearly showing the WARN Product purchased. • Make the claim within the Warranty period. • Attach your name, address, telephone number, a description of the problem, and a copy of your receipt and original bill of sale to the product. • Return the Product, transportation charges prepaid, to the Warn Industries Service Department at 12900 SE Capps Rd., Clackamas, Oregon 97015. OR Find the nearest Warn Authorized Service Center by visiting: www.warn.com/corporate/ authservicecenters.shtml. Warn will, at its option, repair, replace or refund the purchase price of a defective Product or component. The Warranty Period is not extended if we repair or replace the Product or its defective electrical component(s). Items covered by this Warranty: • Electrical components covered by the three (3) year Limited Warranty: motor, contactor, solenoid, handheld remote controls. • All other mechanical components are covered by the five (5) year Limited Warranty, except as listed below. Items not covered by this Warranty: • The removal or reinstallation of the Product. • Wire or synthetic rope. • Product finish. • Components damaged by accident, abuse, misuse, collision, overloading, modification, misapplication, improper installation, or improper service. • Normal wear and tear or loss of functionality due to the normal aging of the Product including, bearings, bushings, seals, O-rings, gaskets, brake material, motor brushes, electrical cables. Actions that void the Warranty: • The removal or defacement of any WARN serial number or date code that was on the Product when sold. • Commercial or industrial use or application, or any hoisting application of the Product. THE WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE IS THE ONLY EXPRESS WARRANTY. THERE ARE NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY WHICH BY LAW MAY NOT BE EXCLUDED IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE DATE OF ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASE OFTHE PRODUCT. WARN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL,INDIRECT,INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOST PROFITS,DOWN TIME OR LOSS OF USE) UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WARN WAS ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. WARN reserves the right to change Product design without notice. In situations in which WARN has changed a Product design, WARN shall have no obligation to upgrade or otherwise modify previously manufactured Products. No WARN dealer, agent or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension or addition to this warranty. This warranty is valid only in the U.S.A. and Canada.
