Winch Installation to fixed location

Always choose a mounting location that is sufficiently strong to withstand the loads you intend to winch The 5000 can be mounted to a fixed location by utilizing the mounting hole pattern for the winch unit. First, choose a mounting location that is sufficiently strong enough to withstand the loads you intend to winch. Next, drill four holes to the dimensions specified in the drawing below.
